Helen Winter launched Bournemouth-based Coral Interiors in 2014, and specialises in residential interiors, second homes, show homes for property developers and commercial holiday cottages.

She is an award winning interior designer who enjoys coaxing her clients out of their comfort zone and creating a space they adore.

As well as residential clients, Helen and her team love creating stand-out designs for luxury holiday lets and high-end Airbnb’s.

Helen’s advice for holiday let investors is to be aware that at the premium end of the market they’re not only competing against other holiday lets and B&Bs, but also local boutique hotels, spas and resorts.

“Great design is the best way to stand out from the competition, create a great guest experience and earn rave reviews and repeat bookings. A well-designed, robust interior is an investment that will pay for itself many times over.”

Helen loves working on period properties and understands the challenges of living in a listed building from experience. She loves nothing more than the classical proportions of a Georgian or Victorian home, or the quirks and character of a barn conversion or thatched cottage.

She sees her role as one of reducing stress for clients, adding value with great design and creating a look that will last.

Helen was also one of the first UK designers to certify in Vegan/Cruelty Free design and she’s passionate about ethical, sustainable alternatives to animal products.
