Drawing strength from her own personal journey of loss, award-winning interior designer Sharlene Young has a deep understanding of the profound effect that a person’s built environment can have on their health and well-being.
Harnessing her passion for human-centered design, Sharlene launched Symbiotic Living 
in Chicago in 2016 with a mission to elevate homes beyond mere living spaces, creating 
environments where individuals can truly thrive. Now, with a global perspective honed from 
Sharlene’s life in Chicago and London and a personal pull toward Rome, Symbiotic Living continues to craft sustainable, life-enhancing spaces for clients in the U.K. and U.S.
