CPD overview

In this CPD, designers will gain a deeper understanding of flush-to-floor shower solutions to achieve integrated wet rooms. Designers will also learn design principles to assist them when specifying wet rooms for their clients such as drainage requirements, acoustic requirements, and what is involved with modular builds.

CPD Learning outcomes:

• understand the features and benefits of a wet room system using extruded polystyrene (XPS) versus traditional construction materials
• understand the variety of designs, functions and sizes for both commercial and domestic applications
• understand the components that if used collectively achieve a CE approval for 'seals for floors and walls in wet rooms'
• understand how to achieve accessibility for wheelchair users
• understand certifications on both Fundo trays & boards with benefit to designers
• understand how to select the correct system dependent on the substrate
