Ad Coliseum Restaurant, Tokyo

AD was a restaurant project set in the heart of Roppongi, close to many foreign embassies within this most sophisticated eating  and  entertainment  area   of   Tokyo.   Sue  worked  closely  with the  Japanese  Architects  to  design  the  space configuration within the restaurant-developing wall, floor and ceiling finishes as well as researching new techniques for a large  printed  glass facade  and bentwood printed formica bar that dominated one end of the space 4000 square feet space. The remit for the restaurant extended to designing the name, food, menu and graphics for AD -together with the staff uniforms, upholstery and tableware design.
