ABOUT

Lollipop Interiors is a thriving South West London-based upcycling business, created in 2017 by artisan Tessa Doyle. Tessa is a multi-talented professional who reupholsters. refinishes and refurbishes a wide variety of furniture including mid-century sideboards, dining sets and chaise longues. Although most items are sourced locally, she also gives a design renaissance to pieces which originate from France and Belgium. For her statement style, Tessa creates a unique look by gilding one leg or one side of a piece of furniture with a metallic silver or gold leaf. This, together with her other specialism for reinventing mid-century sideboards whether by flat painting alone or with the addition of a geometric pattern, has seen her client base extend throughout the UK as well as further afield, with clients reporting back to Tessa that her standout style has been seen in Scotland, France and Israel too.

Lollipop Interiors not only sells upcycled furniture, they offer a commission service too. Furniture for upcycling can be collected and redelivered to a client's chosen address and Tessa is always pleased to source unusual pieces and create surface designs specific to her client's requirements. She also collaborates with interior designers and has been given some rather unusual opportunities for her upcycling including having her furniture appear on a well-known soap opera series on ITV. Her work has also appeared on the House of Upcycling stand at The House & Garden Festival at Olympia in 2019 and again at Grand Designs Live NEC that same year.
