Caroline Cobbold Design Ltd project
Crouch End
I worked closely with the clients and Hugh Cullum Architects Ltd to create a fun, modern and practical family home. This was a three storey Victorian residential which comprised of completely gutting the original interior, restructuring the inside and adding a full refurbishment.
The House has had a lot of press, it was featured in the Evening Standard and 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine.
Renovated from multiple bedsits from the 1970's this house was a true transformation which consisted of re-imagining room size and creating more space and light throughout. We extended the kitchen at the back of the house into an open plan diner/sitting room, built around the original fire place. We had a bespoke hand made kitchen with a Basaltina worktop made and installed. The single shelf above the units incorporated the extraction. The banquette overlooking the garden also provided extra storage below.
I used a bold colour palette and included a fusion of vintage and modern furniture, coupled with bespoke and high end lighting.
I added a top floor open plan master bedroom/bathroom with large picture windows over looking Alexandra Palace and beyond. The view was stunning .
