BIID Craft Social – Terrarium Workshop at Studio Franchi
BIID Members are invited to Studio Franchi during FOCUS/23 for an afternoon of terrarium building with champagne and canapes
Studio Franchi invite you to their terrarium masterclass, a fun, engaging, and relaxing terrarium building experience hosted by The Botanical Boys in Studio Franchi’s wonderful Design Centre showroom in Chelsea Harbour.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each attendee will get the chance to build their own terrarium consisting of a glass jar, cork lid, and special piece of Studio Franchi brass that will age with a beautiful patina over the years. Guests will also enjoy learning about the history of terrariums.
The workshop will begin at 11am and will last for 2 hours, ending at 1pm. After the workshop guests are invited to enjoy champagne and canapes with the opportunity to network and connect.
WHAT TO BRING
No need to bring anything as all materials will be supplied.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
Once built, your garden will require very minimal maintenance and The Botanical Boys will teach you all the necessary steps on how to build your garden layer by layer and how to care for it afterwards.
Studio Franchi will be giving away environmentally friendly tote bags (with goodies) to carry your terrarium home in, and are offering a collection service for your masterpiece, so that you can collect it at the end of the day after enjoying your time at FOCUS.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
We welcome BIID Registered Interior Designers, Associate members, Provisional Associate members and Employees of Registered Design Practices to attend this craft social event. Members are entitled to bring 1 guest, please register them as a guest on the order form as spaces are extremely limited.
