WHAT TO EXPECT
The Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) provide built environment professionals with two routes to undertake the Health, Safety and Environment test. Upon passing the test, professionals are granted a CSCS card for industry professionals who are required to visit site as part of their role but who are not site based.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Mathew Freeman

Matt Freeman is the BIID President. He studied Interior Architecture at University Wales Institute Cardiff. After graduating he joined HLM where he eventually became Creative Director of their luxury residential brand, 33 Interiors. In 2018 he joined Goddard Littlefair. He also represents the BIID on the Business Panel of the Construction Industry Council. Celebrating almost 20 years in the interior design industry in London, Mathew draws on this experience whilst working with clients across many disciplines including residential projects, both developer and private, and commercial projects. Passionate about materiality, detail, and sustainable solutions his work combines his love of artwork, rich textural concepts, and personal service. Personable, attentive and intuitive, Mathew works closely with clients to understand, question and deliver exceptional projects and beautiful homes
Paul Jenkinson

Paul has been in the IT, Cyber Security and Compliance E-Learning marketplace for over 35 years having held senior management roles with organisations such as Motorola ING, F5 Networks, Stanley Security, and the Turrem Data Group. After working for a leading UK supplier of e-learning compliance and governance courses, Paul realised that there was a need for E-Learning and "Virtual online Training" within market such as HSE (Health and Safety) training for the Construction Industry, Procurement Fraud Management, Cyber Security Protection and Mental Health in the Workplace.
Accredex was formed as a supplier of fresh new courses addressing modern day needs with the objective of making it easier and more cost effective for organisations and individuals to gain the skills and accreditations that they need to do their day-to-day jobs. Jonathan Culy

Jon has been with CITB for just over 17 years in various roles. He started working within the Customer Operations teams working with various industry card scheme’s including CSCS and CPCS. More recently Jon also worked as the Team Manager for the CITB Standards Development team. Currently Jon works within Product Management as the Product Manager for the CITB Testing Team which includes the delivery of the CITB Health, safety and environment test.
Angeleen Hill

Angeleen Hill joined CSCS team in May 2013 and is Scheme Manager. She previously worked in Civil Engineering project controls and finance for over 6 years. Angeleen works with employers, partners, training organisations and awarding bodies, to manage qualifications and compliance to the CSCS scheme requirements. She acts as a focus for appeals and occupational queries and works closely with our service provider to manage the day to day running of the scheme.
