GET READY FOR THE (Re)Generation this January!
Since 1995, MAISON&OBJET has been an inspiration for design professionals all around the world, offering them the very best of creativity and design.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2020, MAISON&OBJET will explore what the design industry will look like in 25 years’ time. In 2020, both the January and September edition will explore the needs and expectations of generation Y and Z (born between 1980 and 2010) and how their eagerness for setting new rules, new ways to consume and create eco-friendly products and solutions will impact the future of design.
The January edition will particularly emphasise on the “engaged generation”, their thrive for more equality, sustainability and well-being, motivated by climate change and public figures like Greta Thunberg. This theme will be express through varied installations, including the What’s News areas curated by Elizabeth Leriche, François Bernard and François Delclaux; and a dedicated conference programme including talks given by Snøhetta, Retrovious, WGSN, Deloitte.
