The impact of smartphone technology has changed the world over the last decade, with how we communicate, interact, and react to the environments around us.
One of the biggest leaps in this technology is the rise of smartphone photography. No longer the realm of the professional or dedicated tourist, everyone now has access to powerful megapixel equipment in the palm of their hand.
The lens may be ready, but are you? The BIID invites interior designers to explore the possibilities of smartphone photography in this interactive 3-hour workshop with professional photographer Jenny Kaye.
Jenny will be discussing how to harness basic photography theory and couple it with in camera techniques to elevate your interiors on screen.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Over three parts, guests will be briefly introduced to photography theory and camera techniques, before moving on to the practical session to put theory into practice and concluding with a group review.

- Straightforward techniques for ensuring you capture the best possible image
- How to enhance your photos super quickly.
- How to edit photos if you want to do more – using external apps

Practical – attendees will be set loose across the showroom to put theory into practice with individual guidance from Jenny.
