Surface Design Show 2016

Surface Design Show provides the perfect setting for architects, designers and specifiers to touch, see and discover the latest surface products for the built environment. Don’t miss the largest selection of materials the industry has to offer accompanied by a packed programme of inspiring debates, seminars and events. Returning to London’s Business Design Centre between 9-11 February, SDS16 will be the largest and most exciting show yet.

BIID Member John Evans will be delivering a fascinating talk at Surface Design Show this year. Titled, “Making an impact and driving sales: How effective use of materials can transform retail design”, the talk will explore how surfaces can be used to present products in different ways, looking at the power of the surface to impart different messages and how these are used within the retail environment. John will discuss how retailers are trying to find new ways to attract shoppers and how advancements in surfaces are helping to transform this sector.
This talk will take place on the Main Stage at 3:15pm on Wednesday, 10th February.

The BIID will once again be sponsoring the CPD Hub - a forum for learning and professional development.

Manufacturers and industry organisations present a rolling programme of CPD seminars covering all aspects of the surfaces sector. More than a dozen presentations over 2½ days give the professional audience plenty of scope to accrue double CPD points at Surface Design Show.
