The first project for Red Engine and their new Australian Partners, Capcorp, Murray Street is set to open Mid-December 2021 combining British warmth with the heritage of darts and thrills of the fairground.

Designed to marry the cosy comforts of your favourite pub with your favourite eccentric Grandma’s house, the Perth design pulls on local history and stories to create an experience you will have to go back to over and over to fully appreciate.

The main event, the Ground Floor bar is steeped in fairground history from its carved and hand painted 3D Header panels based on early 20thC designs to the mural ceiling outlined in festoon lights and the antique mirrored back bar in a bevelled diamond design.

The upstairs bar at Murray Street drew inspiration from Victorian fireplaces and the magic they have around Christmas. Whereas Father Christmas might have come out of them in years gone by - now they are filled with bottles of liquor. A childhood dream grown up.

The front bar follows on this theme, utilising reclaimed victorian fireplace tiles in a patchworked effect and oversized oak spindles to create an element of cozy familiarity mixed with the famed British Eccentricity we are so fond of.
