Holiday Home in Rock, Cornwall

This contemporary, newly built home was tailor made for a family to use as a holiday retreat as well as rent when they are not occupying the property. We worked closely together to select items that not only looked beautiful, but also adhered to a set budget and strict durability requirements. A combination of bespoke, off the shelf, vintage and antique items balance the modern architecture to create a fresh, layered aesthetic.  The colour palette was inspired by the local landscape – including some photographs my client took herself of the cliffs and sea surrounding the property.  Each bedroom feels completely unique as we implemented distinct colour schemes – such as “sunrise” in the bedroom with soft yellow Roman blinds and twilight in the pale blue bedroom with deep navy curtains. The home, which sleeps sixteen, is available to rent through Latitude50.
