BIID Announces Graduate Week for Students 2022

Events to assist students negotiating the job market after graduation.

BIID Graduate Week is back and commences with our webinar ‘Life After Graduation’ on Tuesday 12th July from 6pm to 7:30pm. This informative event will give you an insight into the journey of four interior designers from graduation to their current careers in residential and commercial interiors. They will also be explaining why they chose to join the Professional Body that represents their industry, the BIID.

During the Q&A, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel members to give them an insight into how they can kick start their careers in interior design.

Life After Graduation Tuesday 12th July book now

Students will then get the chance to attend our popular event, ‘Portfolio Support: Online Mentoring’,  Guests are invited to register for a private 40 minute session with a mentor in the week Monday 18th July to Friday 22nd July. The sessions will be interactive, with a mentor assessing your portfolio and answering questions you have about best practice and what makes a good impression when interviewing.

Tickets for these events are for BIID student members, and Associate and Provisional members in their first year of practice.
