BIID Awards to Welcome International Entries

The BIID are celebrating global interior design excellence with expanded eligibility for 2026

We are delighted to announce that from 2026, the BIID Interior Design Awards will be open to BIID international members for the very first time. This exciting development means that International and International Dual Members will be eligible to submit their projects to be recognised in these prestigious awards.

Up until 2025, the awards have been open exclusively to UK-based interior designers. Expanding eligibility reflects the Institute’s commitment to celebrating outstanding interior design from our growing global membership.

Entries for the 2026 awards will open in January 2026. International interior designers wishing to enter must be either BIID International or Dual Members at the time of submission.

If you are an interior designer based outside the UK and not yet a BIID member, we encourage you to explore our membership options and consider joining the Institute. Becoming a BIID member not only allows you to enter the awards but also offers access to a wide range of professional benefits, resources and a vibrant design community.
