Biid summer party 2013

Over 200 hundred members and their guests attended the annual summer party hosted by Republic of Fritz Hansen last Thursday. Many arrived from a great day at the BIID Annual Conference,  ready for a glass of bubbly and a chance to network with old friends and like minded members. The atmosphere was great as interior designers, educators, students, suppliers and media networked and mingled.

One of the evening’s highlights was a prize draw, presented by BIID President Sue Timney and Skandium’s Magnus Englund. The lucky winners walked away with an Arne Jacobsen chair, donated by Fritz Hansen, The BIID Interior Design Job Book and The BIID Concise Agreement for Interior Designers, both donated by the BIID.
The good vibes continued throughout the evening as guests slowly moved downstairs where the DJ played some soulful tunes and it wasn’t long before the dance floor was full late into the evening.
