Woman Visiting Decorex

Tell us about this year’s Decorex?

Decorex isn't just an event—it's a celebration of extraordinary design that has defined luxury interiors for over four decades! As the UK's premier destination for high-end interior design, we've built our reputation on connecting visionary designers, architects, and specifiers with the absolute crème de la crème of luxury interior brands.

I'm thrilled to announce that Decorex 2025 will transform Olympia London from 12-15 October for our spectacular 47th edition. We're set to welcome over 280 of the most innovative and prestigious interior brands under one magnificent roof. Beyond the stunning exhibitions, we're creating an immersive experience with thought-provoking talks, unparalleled networking opportunities, and a first look at the trends that will define luxury interiors in the coming year. It's going to be extraordinary!

What can visitors expect to see from exhibitors at Decorex 2025?

Prepare to be dazzled! Our visitors will embark on a journey through an incredible spectrum of interior excellence - from statement lighting that transforms spaces to sumptuous textiles that invite touch, statement furniture pieces that become conversation starters, breathtaking wall coverings, and even garden furniture that brings luxury to outdoor living.

I'm particularly excited about the latest collections from our carefully curated lineup of standout brands. The Soho Lighting Co. will showcase pieces that are nothing short of illuminated art, while Officine Gullo brings Italian craftsmanship to new heights. Hyde House, Bert Frank, Knots Rugs, Armac Martin, and Sofas & Stuff are just a taste of the exceptional talent on display. Each exhibitor brings something unique to the table - it's like witnessing the future of interior design unfold before your eyes.

Who is the creative collaborator for this year’s show creative?

We've partnered with the absolutely brilliant Natasha Mann as our creative collaborator for Decorex 2025. Her work is simply mesmerising - she's created a distinctive geometric pattern design that incorporates delicate floral details and sumptuous gilded elements. You'll see her artistic vision woven throughout our show branding and promotional materials, creating a cohesive and captivating visual journey that perfectly captures the essence of what makes Decorex so special.

Tell us about Natasha Mann's work?

Natasha's work is pure magic! She's a master of traditional techniques that she uses to craft bespoke interior pieces and fine artworks that leave you breathless. What I find fascinating is how she draws inspiration from global decorative art traditions- particularly the intricate Moroccan architectural painting on wood.

There's an authenticity to her process that's increasingly rare today. She works exclusively with natural materials, painstakingly hand-grinds her own pigments to mix with egg tempera and applies genuine 24-carat gold leaf. Her portfolio spans everything from show-stopping decorative paintings that transform interiors to exquisite small decorative objects and individual framed paintings and drawings. Each piece tells a story and brings a sense of artisanal luxury that perfectly aligns with the Decorex ethos.

Who will be designing this year’s VIP Lounge?

Our VIP Lounge this year is going to be absolutely spectacular! Named 'Palomino,' it draws inspiration from the historic Paris Olympia Hippodrome of 1886 and Bertram Mills' legendary circus at Olympia Kensington - a perfect nod to our venue's rich heritage.

We're thrilled to have BIID member Tolu Adẹ̀kọ́ and Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co. at the helm of this project. Their vision masterfully weaves storytelling with bold, immersive design elements that bridge historical grandeur and contemporary innovation. Every detail has been thoughtfully crafted to challenge expectations and create a truly sensory experience.

What makes Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co.'s approach so refreshing is their fearlessness - they're bold, unexpected, and undeniably captivating. Our VIP guests are in for an unforgettable experience that celebrates craftsmanship at its finest!

Decorex Makers Space

Who will be leading the design collaboration for the Decorex Bar for 2025?

I'm beyond excited to reveal that Lucy Mayers for Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler will be designing our iconic Decorex Bar! This central networking and socialising hub will be a stunning homage to Colefax & Fowler's timeless elegance and their renowned classic English appeal. With their impeccable reputation and distinctive aesthetic, I can't wait to see how they'll transform this vital space into something truly extraordinary that captures the essence of sophisticated British design.

Will there be a social space in the National Hall?

Absolutely! We're creating a fantastic Decorex Cafe and Bar right in the heart of the National Hall, generously sponsored by Material Bank. It's been thoughtfully designed to provide visitors with a versatile space where they can work, relax, and recharge while still feeling the electric energy of the show floor. It's the perfect spot to process all the inspiration you've absorbed, have impromptu meetings, or simply enjoy a moment of reflection before diving back into the design discoveries awaiting yo.

Tell us about this year’s Making Spaces at Decorex 2025?

I'm particularly proud that Making Spaces is returning for its fourth consecutive year - it's become one of our most beloved features! We're showcasing an entirely fresh lineup of phenomenally talented artisans who will be demonstrating their skills and craftsmanship right before your eyes.

What makes this feature so special is the hands-on element. Visitors can experience the creative process up close throughout all four days of the event. This year's lineup will showcase the intricate art of weaving, the precision of marquetry, the transformative nature of ceramics, and the strength and beauty of metalwork. It's a celebration of the human touch that goes into creating exceptional interiors - something that's at the very heart of what Decorex represents.

What can attendees look forward to from the Decorex Talks Programme?

Our Talks Programme this year is absolutely stellar! We've curated over 100 expert speakers who will be sharing insights on a diverse range of specialist topics that matter to today's design professionals.

The expert panels will tackle everything from practical business advice (like growing an interior design practice) to exploring how to champion regional artisans in international design projects. I'm particularly excited about our daily sustainability talks, which will address one of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing our industry today.

These sessions aren't just about listening; they're about sparking conversations, challenging conventions, and inspiring new approaches to design. They're unmissable opportunities to gain insights from some of the most innovative minds in our field!

When does registration for Decorex 2025 open?

The excitement begins next week when registration officially opens! We'll be revealing even more thrilling details about what promises to be the interior design industry's most unmissable event this October. I personally can't wait to welcome everyone to what will be a landmark edition of Decorex - mark your calendars now and prepare to be inspired!
