Le Liradou is a delightful example of a provencal farmhouse overlooking the sea. Joanna was brought in to remodel the house to create elegant living spaces that could work all year round and make the most of the stunning vistas.

We transformed the cheap conversion into a stylish building with integrity by gutting it, opening up the small rooms and enlarging the windows. We worked with local contractors and garden designers to enhance the proportions and good features of the house and to create an indoor outdoor dynamic.

The furnishing scheme had to create a cool and calm place to retreat from the heat. The house is a fresh cocoon of cream walls, limestone floors, and painted ceilings and beams. Pretty blue and white checked fabrics create interest and soft lavenders and embroidered floral motifs echo the country side outside.
