The project centers around a Lutron Homeworks QSX lighting system, designed to illuminate a modern London home and showcase vintage dresses in museum-style display units.
Integrated with DALI fixtures, it offers precise control over brightness and colour temperature to protect the fabrics and enhance their display. Lighting is controlled via Apple HomePods and custom Meljac keypads. Automated sheer and blackout blinds, managed by the Lutron system, allows control of natural light and privacy via Meljac keypads and Apple HomePod voice control. Motorised voile curtains in the garden room create a soft ambiance, while skylights, including a bespoke motorised shutter, enhance natural light and ventilation. Heatmiser thermostats regulate electric underfloor heating, with zonal control through Apple Home for energy efficiency. The home features a Grade 3-rated intruder alarm, Logitech Circle View cameras, and a smart doorbell, all integrated into Apple Home for high-level security and remote monitoring. A custom 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound system with Steinway Lyngdorf speakers delivers cinematic audio in the home theatre, with Siri voice control enabling hands-free management throughout the smart home.
