Precious McBane

Meriel Scott co-founded Precious McBane in 1993 and works with design partner Tor Wimpenny and Yoko Takano across a variety of residential and commercial projects, as well as bespoke textiles and furniture.

The studio has maintained a tradition of absorbing talent from outside the world of interiors, where the disciplines of art and sculpture combine to create environments that are reassuringly warm, detailed and layered with visual interest. Links with other creative disciplines are further echoed in collaborative works with artists for the studio's private clients, helping to create unique interiors, particularly as beautiful backdrops to collections of art.
