The Water Tower featured in the 100th episode of the Grand Designs television programme and was nominated for a BAFTA in 2013. This Grade II listed Victorian Tower was built on the site of a former workhouse in Kennington, south London boasting 360 degree views of London. Sue and her team were invited by the owners to come up with an overall interior design concept for this unconventional 100 foot tall building. Tones of blues with accents of reds – relating water and fire – became the overriding colour story around which the design of each floor developed. The original tank room at the very top of the building boasting views to die for, with simple cream on white finishes to complement the panoramic cityscape.
