Interior-design work on the tailor’s workshop CYMBIDUM in the South-Korean city of Seoul delivered a dramatically appealing aesthetic in which meticulous attention for detail is the driving force behind the project, somehow reflecting the spirit of the sartorial team in the atelier itself. The designers succeeded in creating a kind of upscale sanctuary which pampers and reassures customers; a sophisticated haven and an escape from the city with all the tumult and bustle so typical of the Korean metropolis. In this particular case, the tailor and owner of the CYMBIDIUM atelier, together with his design staff, chose VALPAINT’s Italian decorative paints for the atelier environment. The VALPAINT Italian decorative paints for this particular project were: VALRENNA and POLISTOF, fabric-effect paints with a remarkably elegant and sleek look; SABULADOR SOFT, a decorative sand-effect paint with a light-catching surface obtained by the inclusion of tiny specks of sand; and last but not least, KLONDIKE CORTEN, a rusty-looking metal product which imbues surfaces with a distinctive appearance that is suitable for outdoor and indoor areas alike.
