This project was a collaboration between Sally and her client, a couple, who are keen collectors.
Purchased from a developer the property was bland and the level of workmanship not appropriate for a Grade 2 listed property. The client’s brief was to produce new designs and schemes for a complete refurbishment of the apartment, creating a striking, elegant home that combined comfort and practicality with a quality finish.
Sally and her client share a meticulous eye for detail and a delight in sourcing unusual, one-off pieces. Mixing classic design with antiques and modern pieces, the furnishings were carefully curated by Sally. Detailed spatial planning, storage and joinery design were key to ensure there was a place for everything and lighting and electrical plans ensured that the client's artwork and collections were correctly and subtly lit.
The completed home reflects the design collaboration between client and designer, demonstrating Sally's confident use of pattern and colour and creating a perfect backdrop for her client's beautiful collections.
