Boutique Hotel-Inspired Interiors With Home Comforts
We undertook a full home renovation for this prime property in West London’s Notting Hill. Our clients were an American couple residing in London with their three-year-old twin boys. With their hectic but home-oriented lifestyles, they wanted the interiors to feel like an inner-city sanctuary that was as luxurious as it was comforting while providing the perfect environment to create beautiful memories as a family and when entertaining guests. The chic white drawing room displayed a rich mixture of organic textures and materials and provided a calming inner-city oasis with plenty of living botanicals.
"We had a wonderful experience working with Designed by Woulfe on this project. Brian and his team were detail oriented, thorough, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. They are truly a full service firm through and through. In addition to Brian's incredible attention to detail, we were also impressed with his creative focus - taking our lifestyle, interest in eco-friendly design, and cultural diversity all into account when presenting us with options for the home. We couldn't recommend Brian and his team enough!"
LP, Residential Client
For a simple but impactful way to bring nature into the home and provide a calming effect, the soft furnishings we selected were made from natural textiles such as wool, silk, cotton and linen.
The guest bedroom was inspired by charming, old-world design. Here we had free reign to play with colours, textures and patterns in a very bold way.
We opted for a deeper colour palette in this living space with marine blue fabrics from Dedar Milano used in the curtains, which had the same metallic heat applied beading seen on the curtains in the drawing-room.
We really wanted to give off the boutique luxury hotel feel for the principal bedroom, so a standout feature for this room was the triple-layered headboard.
The clients wanted the home renovation to be as much about the children as themselves, so just as much care and attention was placed on these spaces.
The twin boys have an entire floor of the home to themselves, so we used this opportunity to go wild with the playful, youthful and colourful interiors here.
