Bespoke blue utility room in Kensington, London

We designed and built this elegant yet functional utility room, forming part of large Grade II listed Georgian townhouse. Our client wanted a simple solution that was hard-wearing utility, built to cope with daily use and made the most of the available area.  Space was tight, with much of the left-hand side being taken up by the large boiler that serviced house. The client received multiple designs and quotes from 'off-the-shelf' suppliers, none of which could maximise the space available.

Cabinets were crafted to perfectly fit into the space available, with a deep corner unit being built to maximise the area on offer. The cabinetry was fitted at high-level and were complimented with open shelving. We concealed the boiler with a large access panel detailed with the same shaker woodwork to match the rest of the utility. We used the client's existing Miele appliances and made sure they are easily accessible.

The kitchen was hand-built in our workshop in West London, with the doors constructed from tulipwood. We were able to complete the project in three weeks following the client sign off.
