BIID Interior Design Awards are Open

Enter the first ever BIID Interior Design Awards now. Open for residential and commercial projects from anywhere in Great Britain.

Entries are now open for the new BIID Interior Design Awards. The inaugural awards will celebrate the very best of British interior design and will showcase the finest projects completed across the UK. Entries are welcomed from all interior designers, for both residential and commercial projects.

The BIID is delighted to welcome Havwoods as the headline sponsor of the BIID Interior Design Awards. Mari Daly, Head of Marketing and Showrooms Europe for Havwoods commented:

“We have been collaborating with interior designers for well over forty years, so partnering with the BIID to support the BIID Interior Design Awards felt like a natural fit. Entrants are invited to submit their projects for the following regional categories:

  • Scotland
  • North & North West
  • Wales and Northern Ireland
  • Midlands & East Anglia
  • Central London
  • Greater London
  • South East
  • South West

All projects shortlisted for the BIID Interior Design Awards will be visited in person by expert assessors. The judges will be looking for outstanding examples of interior design projects and the rigorous judging criteria will assess successful meeting of a design brief, creative design solutions and technical skills.

The Awards will celebrate every type of interior design, from the largest commercial project to the smallest residential dwelling. In addition, 2 new landmark prizes will be awarded – the Interior of the Year Prize, which will be awarded to the best interior design project in the UK and the Anna Whitehead Prize, which will be awarded to the best achievement in sustainable interior design.

The prizes will be awarded at an exciting new awards ceremony, set to take place on 5th October 2022, which will be held at the stunning Drapers’ Hall, London.

  • Entries Open - 7th February 2022
