CAFÉ PROJECT AT MOUNT FUJI 5TH STATION, JAPAN

This project involved the expansion and interior design of a bakery and café space at Mount Fuji’s Fifth Station in Japan. The brief was to create a welcoming environment where visitors can enjoy both freshly roasted coffee and relaxed café seating in a setting that reflects the unique mountain landscape.

The design integrates natural materials and a subdued colour palette to harmonise with the surrounding environment. Cool blue-green accents were introduced to evoke the nearby alpine scenery, balanced with warm timber elements and soft lighting to create an inviting atmosphere. The arrangement of indoor and outdoor seating further strengthens the connection between the café and its natural context, enhancing the visitor experience.
