This established property in the exclusive Polo Ridge area of Barbados required complete renovation and has been transformed into an award-winning family home.   The traditional verandah leading onto the pool and garden now has three dedicated areas for dining, relaxing and cocktail sipping.  Whilst the new interiors have a traditional feel, they have been created for modern life in a tropical climate.

  • The client asked for a bedroom in traditional Caribbean style. An imposing mahogany bed commissioned and made in Barbados sets the mood while beautiful linens and embroidered sheers add a sense of understated glamour.

  • A custom-made bar graces the bar area of the verandah. It was painted with the famous Barbados green monkeys by a well-known local artist.
