Riverbank Lodge (Spinks Nest) - Tailored Beds for Compact, Design-Led Spaces 

At Riverbank Lodge (Spinks Nest), the brief centred on maximising comfort and functionality within a compact footprint, without compromising on design. Every element needed to work harder, particularly the beds. A mix of styles was specified to suit different rooms, including a Moroccan four poster bed, a platform bed, and ottoman storage beds without headboards. Each solution was carefully adapted to the spatial constraints of the lodge. The Moroccan four poster bed was customised with shortened posts to fit neatly within the sloped roofline, preserving the character of the design while ensuring a precise fit. Elsewhere, platform beds provided a clean, low-profile aesthetic suited to tighter rooms. Storage was a key commercial and practical consideration. Ottoman beds without headboards were selected to maximise usable space, offering discreet, integrated storage without adding visual bulk.
