Macha Interiors project

Chelsea Harbour

Our studio was appointed to complete the FF&E Design and light refurbishment of a three-bedroom show apartment within the world class Chelsea Harbour development located on the Thames waterfront. The client brief was to emphasise the breathtaking views of the river, prioritising a light and neutral colour palette while taking into consideration the existing interior architecture, materials and finishes used throughout. The show apartment design scheme needed to be practical and liveable while conveying a sense of luxury and sophistication aimed at international buyers looking for a luxurious and modern living experience

By combining creamy hues, soft textures, and natural materials our design concept aimed to create a show apartment that emanated warmth, serenity and a touch of luxury. Incorporating soft and rich fabrics like cashmere, velvet and silk in creamy and natural tones such as milky whites, soft beiges and warm honey meant we were able to create a serene and inviting atmosphere for potential buyers. Furniture that offers both style and comfort with a focus on soft curves and inviting silhouettes were purposefully selected to create an atmosphere that encouraged relaxation. We opted for plush sofas and ottomans arranged in a way that promotes conversation and fosters a warm and intimate ambiance allowing residents to savour moments of rejuvenation and togetherness. The use of natural materials such as reclaimed wood, stone and woven fibres brought an authentic touch to the apartment while adding tactile elements such as textured wallpapers and upholstered furniture, with delicate patterns, added depth and visual interest
