Drumsheugh Gardens, Edinburgh – Luxury Residential Development

Drumsheugh Gardens is one of Edinburgh’s most distinguished Italianate Victorian terraces, situated in the heart of the West End and regarded as one of the city’s most prestigious residential addresses. Originally constructed in 1878 as part of the later Walker Estate, the development has been carefully restored and transformed into luxury residences, spanning approximately 35,000 square feet. The apartments range from elegant 1,200 sq. ft. one-bedroom homes to expansive 3,000 sq. ft. four-bedroom lateral apartments.

Hoff Parquet was proud to be part of this prestigious project, supplying and installing premium engineered oak chevron parquet flooring throughout all apartments. Our flooring not only enhanced the timeless architectural character of the development but also provided a refined and durable surface, perfectly suited to modern living in a historic setting.

In addition, our team designed, produced, and installed bespoke stair solutions, including low-profile steps and solid oak treads and risers, expertly crafted to clad over the metal frame structures. This combination of precision joinery and bespoke detailing ensured a seamless integration of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary engineering.

At Hoff Parquet, we are committed to delivering wood flooring and bespoke timber solutions of the highest quality. Our oak floors are not only beautiful but also practical and easy to maintain – requiring little more than occasional sweeping and mopping to retain their elegance for decades.

This project at Drumsheugh Gardens showcases our dedication to craftsmanship, design, and the enduring beauty of natural wood, adding long-lasting value and sophistication to one of Edinburgh’s finest addresses.
