Almost completely rebuilt from scratch, this stunning four bedroom house with a separate annex and pool, is a pebbles throw away from the beautiful West Wittering beach, near Chichester, West Sussex. Our cosmopolitan clients took on the challenge to reinvent this property into a contemporary, light filled home for themselves and their young children.

We were engaged early on in the project and advised on all key material choices including flooring, tiles, hardware and colour schemes. Part of our brief was to incorporate a Japandi style aesthetic and find a suitable home for some much loved family heirloom pieces within the furniture layouts.

Bespoke joinery was commissioned through out, from the kitchen units to the boot room, bookshelves and the bathroom vanity units, creating a truly customised living space.

    Whist the home is contemporary and minimal in design, we wanted to incorporate heirloom pieces that were loved by our clients and reflected their history and personalities. This hallway is extremely welcoming and sets the tone for this open plan family residence.

    The kitchen was made by hand with special attention to detail with the reeded Ash cupboards. Minimal and streamlined combined with the warmth of wood and the organic decorative pattern of marble gives this space a feeling off well being and lightness.

    In this large family bathroom we combined neutral crackle glazed tiles with bold geometric cement tiles along the sink wall and inside the shower area, choosing rounded edge bathroom furniture and designing specifically with young children in mind.

  • Bathroom sink unit

    For the master bathroom we designed a bespoke twin sink reeded oak bathroom vanity unit, complimented by crackle glazed tiles and mat gold accessories.

    The large open plan kitchen and dining space with natural materials and strong graphic lines, complimented by the original painting by local artist Fred Coppin.
