Window Treatments for Historic Home

This Cotswolds farmhouse demonstrates how thoughtfully designed window treatments can balance historic architecture with contemporary comfort. Throughout the property, VENESTRE made-to-measure sheer roller blinds and elegant curtains frame original windows with subtlety and restraint, enhancing both the character and functionality of the home.

At the heart of the scheme is the signature V01 roller blind system, combining refined fabrics with clean-lined aluminium profiles. The property's original stonework and irregular architectural details presented unique installation challenges, requiring bespoke solutions carefully adapted to each opening. Antique bronze brackets and hem bars were selected to complement the rustic palette, while soft fabrics diffuse natural light throughout the interiors.

Every VENESTRE window treatment is made to measure, with a choice of premium hardware finishes and manual or motorised operation, including compatibility with leading home automation platforms. The result is a  balance of privacy, comfort, and design that respects the heritage of the building while delivering contemporary performance.
