The brief

In 2019, we were approached by Zaffera London to help with the complete conversion of an old police station, in Chiswick, into a stunning modern pub.

The interior designers wanted to create a vibrant and warm space that incorporated some of the interesting features left behind from the buildings' rich history. Lighting needed to reinforce the important focal point of the space - the gorgeous art deco-style bar.

The Design Process

Zaffera London reached out to us with the exact lighting ideas and dimensions that they required. They also requested that each of the 8 pendant lights be suspended from fixed brass rods, which were custom made for the project on-site in our Ross-on-Wye workshop. These fixed rods were required to prevent the pendant lights moving around and hitting each other when the air conditioning was on.

The Finished Project

Zaffera London absolutely adored the look of the XL clear Hereford globe pendant lights and wanted 8 of them to line the bar area. They were all made with custom fixed brass rods and the lights came complete with 4-watt LED globe bulbs that create a lovely soft glow around the spectacular bar.
