Project Summary:
Full refurbishment of a 1920s Art Deco apartment within a historic listed building in Marylebone, Central London. The kitchen had to be relocated as part of the works, former kitchen repurposed as a study and wine store, as well as an extensive joinery package. The brief was to relocate the kitchen into the highly decorative living areas of the apartment. The scheme's rearrangement reflects the kitchen as a space which is central to hospitality in contemporary life. The property is listed and the client wanted to be sympathetic to the building’s age and heritage in the renovation, echoing the early 1930s.
