In a synergistic collaboration with Poynt Works architects and a highly engaged client, Dobuild—an International, Chartered Building Company specialising in high-end residential projects— has reimagined an Edwardian terrace house in Dulwich, London, converting it into a family-friendly space. Through the addition of a ground-floor wrap-around extension and meticulously planned internal modifications, the house now features an expansive, modern kitchen that serves as an inviting hub for the home. Characterised by a skylight that maximises natural light, the design also incorporates aesthetic elements such as white-painted exposed brickwork and contrasting wooden accents. To extend the feeling of openness, Crittall-style glazed doors link the kitchen with an adjacent dining room, further adorned with European oak flooring and a refurbished fireplace.
