The original interiors were lacking the warmth and ease of a true family home. Our role was to reimagine the space with comfort and daily life at its heart. The layout was sensitively reconfigured to better serve the rhythms of the household, including the introduction of a new boot room that offers both practical storage and a gentler arrival into the home. The kitchen underwent a complete reconfiguration to create a more social, functional hub, better suited to family life and everyday gathering. A new snug was added, offering a softer, more intimate space for retreat. The study was thoughtfully relocated to a quieter sitting room, aligning more naturally with the way the family lives and works. A key focus was the main atrium, a space that had long felt disconnected and underused.
Through considered joinery redesign and carefully chosen furnishings, we sought to anchor the room, drawing it into the life of the house and shaping it into a welcoming, usable place.
The result is a home that feels more flexible, more generous, and ready to be lived in.
