This chalet style home was affectionately named the Ugly Duckling as it needed a bold re-imagining from a restricted dark bungalow to a light and spacious family home. A T E L I E R  |  id  began firstly with the Sitting Room, Family Room and Hallway, and our clients were so delighted we were awarded the large rear extension and full refurbishment including kitchen and utility design.

Our clients are keen gardeners and so the brief was to bring the outside in. We used a variety of green tones, some calm, some more vibrant, to echo their landscaped mature gardens and to retain a certain flow through the rooms. Our clients and their children even embraced the pink snail motif on the Cole & Son wallpaper that was accented through accessories! Great results for a vibrant and fun family.
