BIID Knowledge Hub Launch: Session 2
For several years members have told us that whilst they love attending our seminars, workshops and conferences, they would also like the BIID to provide online learning. After extensive research into the best way to offer this for our members we are very excited to announce the launch of the BIID Knowledge Hub on Wednesday 12th October 2016.
The BIID Knowledge Hub is a cloud-based online learning platform that will host a range of BIID accredited interiors related educational content. It will allow registered users to further their own continuing professional development (CPD) by improving their skills, knowledge and expertise. Interior designers will be able to supplement the live events they attend with e-learning that will be accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
We have partnered with suppliers, trade bodies and training organisations to translate their specialist knowledge into e-learning content. We will also be inviting interior designers to share case studies of their projects that others can learn from. There will be content suitable for designers working on both residential and commercial projects including specifying products and finishes, regulations and legislation, health and safety, sustainability, inclusive design, professional practice and more.
