Henley House & Garden Show
Primary tabs
Event description
The inaugural Henley House & Garden Show will blossom
into view on the weekend of 28th February - 1st March. The
new event in the beautiful market town of Henley on Thames will dominate the
town centre providing an exciting showcase of inspirational house and garden
ideas. Aspirational, educational and entertaining the show is set to thrill
amateur and professional interior designers and horticulturalists.
Confirmed speakers include Julia Kendell from DIY SOS, textile designer Sarah Burghard, renowned Sundial designer David Harber, Jay Blades from the upcycling social enterprise Out of the Dark and Richard Francis of Sensecape. A highlight for male visitors may well be the talk by Alastair Bloom from GarageTek about organising your garage!
One of the shows high points will be the home décor fashion show in the market place marquee on Saturday when local sporting heroes and celebrities will transport home décor items from rugs to lamps down a fake turf runway to create a beautiful (if eclectic) room set on stage. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Henley’s Chiltern Care Centre, a respite centre for disabled children.
