Please tell us about Design Central and what’s coming up at your next event?

Covering The North West, South West and soon Essex, Design Central are the largest regional Interior Trade Event organiser in England. A professional and well respected business within the industry, we offer our exhibitors attractive venues in which to display their collections. It is our philosophy that Trade events like these should have a great selection of exhibitors, be inspiring, educational and free to attend. Our next event is 27th and 28th September at Capesthorne Hall in Cheshire. With over forty exhibitors and over sixty different brands available to catch up with, our visitors will be busy!

Can you tell us about some exhibitor highlights to look forward to?

We are delighted to have William Yeoward and Vincent Shepherd with us this year and welcome back GP & J Baker and Romo along with many other exhibitors. Too many to mention!

 “Talk Space” is our exciting new venture. Sponsored by Sofa.com and featuring the Interior Design Business Podcast with Jeff Hayward and Susi Rumbold, the podcast is being recorded at the event and broadcast in October. The panel will be discussing “ Is TV good for Interior Design”. It will feature a number of past cast members from The Great Interior Design Challenge. We also have Fiona Mostyn from Mydeco Marketing and Jason from Control4 to discuss home automation.

What are you most looking forward to about the BIID award ceremony?

We are very excited about the ceremony, the fact that we are a sponsor, the fabulous venue and  of course meeting the finalists and seeing their projects.
