Project name: Fournier Street, Location: Spitalfields, London, Project type: Mid Century Home

A commercial project due to this residetial building being purchased solely as an investment, to be turned around for profit. This gives an interior designer a different focus to how they approach the project.

Designed by Center Point Designer, Richard Siefert our Client recognised the lure of its' Mid Century pedigree; and realising that the interior needed to relflect the same high calibre mid century style, commissioned Pascoe Interiors to furnish the interior ready for sale.  The brief was to create a Modern Mid Century interior to attract a collector of this highly desirable style.

    A contemporary free standing bath stands infront of a floor to ceiling glass screen, behind which is a walk in shower is a very clever design that makes highly efficient use of the footprint to provide a large bath and a huge shower.

    Researching and understanding a buildings' history helps us all to design better interiors. Here the Architects chose to clad one wall of the entrance in a nod to Spitalfields' simpler industrial past as the 'Wood Veneering Centre' in London during the Mid Century.
