Set in the heart of London, this elegant family home has been reimagined under the expert guidance of De Rosee Sa, combining timeless design with modern functionality. The brief was to supply natural stone throughout, ensuring the materials would complement the meticulous architectural and interior details while creating a cohesive flow between spaces. The result is a harmonious blend of luxurious materials, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.
Natural stone was integral to the transformation of this home, carefully selected to enhance each room while tying the spaces together.
In the kitchen, Calacatta Gold marble forms the focal point, with its warm veining and luminous finish offering a sophisticated yet practical solution. This same stone was used for the fireplace surrounds within the living areas. Moving through the property, the Lanyon and Tora Blue chequerboard flooring creates a bold and dynamic statement in key spaces, such as the hallway, adding a touch of drama and timeless appeal.
The bathrooms are equally impactful, with natural stone used to create serene and functional retreats. Subtle veining and warm tones ensure a balance of elegance and practicality, reflecting the home’s modern yet classic ethos. In the main living areas, soft, neutral-toned stone provides a textured backdrop, offering a refined canvas for the home’s furnishings and decorative elements.
Outdoors, the collaboration with Ula Maria Studio has extended the home's design language into the garden. Carefully selected paving and hard landscaping elements were chosen to complement the natural beauty of the planting scheme while connecting seamlessly with the interior spaces.
