Hampstead Garden Suburb

Located in Hampstead Garden Suburb's prestigious conservation area, this Arts & Crafts family home required sensitive modernisation under strict Trust governance. The ground floor transformation centres around a bespoke dark oak joinery element that stretches across the interior, concealing storage while creating flexible living zones. Sliding doors within the joinery modulate light and flow between spaces. The heart of the home features a bright kitchen extending to a raised brick patio with clay paver planters connecting house and garden. A snug offers intimate retreat space, while the converted garage provides additional utility areas. Dark oak respects and references the original handrails, complemented by light marble and natural stone finishes.
