A Grade II listed home at the edge of Hampstead Heath, renovated to feel solid, beautiful and entirely unlaboured. The brief wasn't an aesthetic, it was a feeling: rooted in place, rich in craft, and easy to live in. Not beautiful in a way that makes you cautious. Beautiful in a way that invites you in.

Back to brick, with eighteen months ahead and a couple who trusted us from a distance. We began with one question: how does this household actually live? The answer shaped everything — a tech-free drawing room for reading and gathering, hallway joinery with a tiled section for wet coats after a walk on the Heath, a ground-floor room that doubles as a guest suite. Every piece — by Sedilia, Sebastian Cox, Pinch, Edward Collinson — was chosen to bring a distinctly British character to a London home. 'It's full of beautiful things,' Andrew says, 'but it isn't precious. It was designed knowing that life was going to happen there.'
