For this exciting project, we worked on a comprehensive transformation of a charming 5-bedroom Victorian home, blending modern elements with the character of the original structure. The renovation involved a full remodel, including a loft dormer conversion, reworking of internal layouts, and the creation of of a gym and games room in the garden.
Our primary goal was to enhance the space for this growing family of five, reworking the existing floorplan to optimise space and improve flow throughout the home. After exploring multiple layout options, we landed on a design that balances open-plan living with distinct, functional areas.
On the ground floor, we designed an expansive open-plan kitchen, dining, and snug area, perfect for family gatherings. The secondary lounge was transformed into a dedicated cinema room.
The first floor now hosts four bedroom and two bathrooms (one en suite) for children and guests. The primary bedroom has been relocated to the loft, creating a private retreat with an en suite bathroom and a spacious walk-in dressing room.
Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with both the architect and the builder to finalise layouts and ensure a seamless execution of the design vision. We designed bespoke joinery, sourced all the furniture, fixtures, and finishes, paying close attention to every detail to create a cohesive and functional home. At the final stage, we assisted the client with styling and accessorising the space, ensuring each room felt both curated and welcoming.
