This beautiful property in Holland Park has undergone a full renovation with structural interventions. Heckmann Design Ltd have undertaken services for full architectural, and interior works, including built in joinery and some of the furniture design. The property is located within a conservation area. Any proposed changes to the exterior of the building were subject to an approval by the Local Authorities. Heckmann Design Ltd have made a successful application for a planning permission on behalf of the Client for proposed changes. The approved scheme was a great gain in improving how the internal spaces were used and perceived, by brining much needed day light into the property. Internally, the staircases was replaced entirely, and the layouts of the rooms changed to suite the Client’s large family needs and create a comfortable flow through their home. The interiors are modern, with a consistent architectural language, from space to space, and yet practicality and usability was achieved.
