Interior Design and the Building Safety Act
Date Published: 11/01/2024
The Building Safety Act 2022 is the most significant piece of new law to impact the property and construction sector in a generation.
Although focussing on tall residential buildings, there is much more to the Act than that, including new regulations governing clients and contractors as well as designers where any form of works are undertaken to which the Building Regulations apply. The Act also covers new law regarding the use of products in construction related projects.

The talk will look at the impact of the Act from the perspective of an interior designer in this 1-hour webinar with time for Q&A and general discussion.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
Particularly for interior designers with a practice which extends into renovation, refurbishment of client’s properties, and new builds, having an awareness of the new laws which apply is of importance.
