Job Description: Interior Designer
You will be accountable to the Company Director for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, establishing critical paths and managing budgets. Your role will involve leading key phases in the studio's interior architecture and FF&E projects by creating innovative designs, producing technical drawings, and developing specifications for residential and commercial projects.

Requirements and Skills:
- A degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in the luxury residential sector.
- A high level of technical knowledge, including CAD and SketchUp.
- Experience working on all aspects of interior architecture and FF&E.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to write briefs, promote and explain ideas, and build relationships with clients.
- An awareness of building and safety regulations.
- Great understanding of supplier and product knowledge, including FF&E finishes.
- Project-management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong negotiating and management skills.
- Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Understand clients' needs to develop design concepts and establish final briefs for each project.
- Consider materials and costs according to budgets.
- Produce sample boards and detailed client presentations.
- Develop, source and procure detailed FF&E specifications whilst managing a pre-agreed budget.
- Proficiently communicate and work with contractors and suppliers to ensure the design and quality are executed as per specification.
- Use excellent project management skills, establishing project timelines, meeting deadlines and managing workload independently.
- Create and place purchase orders.
- Coordinate key deliveries to site during installation and produce a schedule for all parties involved.
- Respond to queries from clients, suppliers and contractors to avoid any delays with projects.
- Resolve any issues or challenges throughout the project ensuring the project stays on track, both budget and installation deadlines.
- Take full ownership for final installation, efficiently delivering the final design within the planned timeframe.
- Share new product knowledge and ideas within the team.
