Crafting a welcoming first impression through refined details and thoughtful design
The client had sketches from various professionals but was uncertain about the direction he wanted to take. He desired something genuinely unique that would create a “wow” factor.
The entrance was dark, and the second floor, which connected the two sections of the house, obscured the arch of the front door.
Since we couldn’t alter the window sizes to enhance natural light, we opted for a modern design that maximises light flow through glass. The centrepiece of this design is a glass bridge and a glass balustrade for the staircase, creating a stunning focal point.
Seamless hidden doors lead to the cloakroom and home office, maintaining the clean lines of the design. The social bathroom is another highlight—bold, unique, and full of character. An aluminium skirting board with integrated LED lighting ties together the elements of this striking contemporary space.
